Very short post because I'm totally fried right now.
I got here! Everything is fine so far. Its very hot and I've seen lots of holy things today. I'm staying in the old city in Jerusalem walking distance from the Western (Wailing) Wall and the Dome of the Rock etc. Went to the place where Jesus died and rose again... In fact I went inside his tome.... anyway the view of the city is astonishing, and you can see it from the roof of the hostle. I'll post some photos when I've slept a little bit. Frankly I can't believe I'm here.
Violence today in Ramallah so I'm keeping a close eye on the news. If it flares up seriously this may end up being a very short trip.

Dude! I cant believe u are ther either. Have you met anyone yet? :P Otherwise the media here has been spinning lots of stories about Hamas VS Fatah the new civil war etc. Hope u can get into the woodwork a bit. Also finger crossed the violence quells some soon - though I guess this is why you are there, to see whats going on for yourself.
